What you're missing? This little cutie calls home to the programmer each time you start it up. If you refuse to let it do so, by letting LittleSnitcher close that door, it will not do the work at any other URL. If this is just a "demofeature" or even a hidden function in the fullpayed version, I don't know. There are no way to disconnect this in the prefs. So, it's not an look-for-the latest-update function...

The logwindow doesn't show any sign of this little trip to the developer.

So, *what* is it sending home.......

Apart from this the idea is cool. sad isn't it?

hey mang,
when you start making a living (partially, in full, what-have-you) creating code for macs, then by all means please start publicly squawking about a developer trying to insure that piracy doesn't squelch his bread and butter (apps phoning home). if you already do develop, whether your apps confirm valid reg's or not, good on ya - if not, pls don't be one of the people in a traffic jam asking why there's all the darn traffic out on the road, and think about giving some props to someone for making a decent app. kudos for the small size of pandora and functionality. :)
