Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

Just wanted to drop a line: Safari is a nice product but carries major flaws: it does not support CSS, is limited to html1 and uses 100% of my CPU every few seconds, making my computer (PB 17" 1.33GHz with 1.5GB RAM) irresponsive, and does not properly renders flash animations (not a plugin problem, because the same animation runs fine on IE, using the same plugin). I hate microsoft products, but so far, IE is the only one that does not show those problems. A lot more work to do on Safari, and very little progresses....

not that good..... - Herwig Henseler

You either don't know what you are talking about or just trolling around. Of course does Safari know about CSS (BETTER than IE!), knows about the latest HTML 4.01 standard and XHMTL 1.1 and it does not consume ressources more excessivley than other browsers.

Blame Flash if flash animations are CPU hogs but not Safari. This is a problem on all Mac browsers.

That does not mean that Safari couldn't be improved but out of 3 (Safari, Firefox, Camino) I always come back to Safari.
