Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Recommend Product: YES

"A 10-30 percent gain in overall performance."

Honestly, I think a 200-300% increase would be necessary!

I'll give it another look when it comes out, VPC has never been usable on OSX.

Using adequate Macs/PowerBooks, VPC works fine - vanyel_mac

Using adequate Macs/PowerBooks, I have found that VPC works fine for many applications - including more than I expected. To boost the surprise, many flawlessly connect to hardware.

  • "10-30% overall speed increase"
  • +
  • Tuned up redraw speed increase

makes this upgrade a no-brainer for me. The comment about a 100-2/300% speed increase would make several of the applications on my VPC Windows XP Professional installation run faster than some of my Macintosh applications. Seriously. And stop hounding on the Macintosh team at Microsoft. I worked with them. They are Mac-lovers just like us. Everytime you dis Microsoft about its Mac products, you only kill that team's morale. So, really, you only end up killing your own favorite platform. The Mac team at Microsoft is the most energetic, enthusiastic, unjaded, team of Macintosh enthusiasts I have ever witnessed!!! Cheer for them! Given constructive criticism (which means including suggestions, not just complaints). Knock off the Evil Empire attitude. I am only speaking about the Mac Team at Microsoft, of course. :)

Here Here. People talk like Bill Gates is writing the Mac software. VPC is an excellent product, and the only decent solution there is (I'd like to see VMWare on the mac).
