Well... That's not true. It doesn't read all the divx.
VLC does.

It does read ALL DivX coded video. VLC on the other hand decodes most of the MPEG4 video SVP 0-1 and AVSP 0-1. DivX is just a MPEG4 video codec from DivX networks. Other MPEG4 Video codecs are from Sorenson, Apple, Phillips, Envivio etc etc. You can even play back most of the DivX encoded movies WITHOUT any special codec in QT 6.x. Just put in a MP4 container. DivX and 3ivx that decodes an MPEG4 video track on the other hand has better postprocessing filters for decoding.
