I'm running old-school hardware: TiBook 400 & original Graphite Base Station, so my network is strictly 802.11b. The only troublesome spot in the house before is no problem at all now! I get at least 2 bars everywhere now, whereas before I'd get 1 to 0 in our kitchen. Gee, and I was thinking I might have to add an AirPort Express to extend the range! This update just saved me $130! Although I wonder what took so long?
Back up your system first, but it definitely worked well for me....
