Interesting idea. I'd like to see it updated to allow ANY pictures to be included, or even movie files. It would also be nice if it would stretch to fill the whole screen; I get black bars on each side of my 17" powerbook.

Matrixview - hyper.x2

there is a linux patch for mplayer (also ported to the windows version) that uses this code to display anything mplayer can view. The site of the creator is Here unfortunaly i havent manged to get a mac version working in the few minutes i tried
