Existing users, 
maybe it's my machine which is a G4/933 w 1.5GB of RAM but since b8 all movies seem to start off with a green screen followed by video and audio which is not in sync.
Have read the ReadMe that came with the app and tried out all the tips for slower machines but to no success. really like this player before these 2 versions and really disappointed with performance now.
