Used Product For: Less than a month

This little app is a great idea, but there are a lot of problems here that make this seem more like a beta release. Beachball-hangs and unexpected quits are common when working in the Newsfeeds window, and one must frequently close this window to save changes or you will find your efforts lost when it decides to crash. App sometimes quits on its own for no apparent reason. Some preference settings are not available unless the option to show the dock icon is selected, and most changes to prefs don't stick or take effect at all, leading to a frustrating "turn dock icon on, quit app, relaunch app, change pref, turn dock icon off, quit app, relaunch app" loop that just begins again when the pref maddeningly goes back to what it was before. Manually editing pref files doesn't seem to help here either (for instance no amount of coaxing I tried could successfully turn off the alert sound). It would be nice if the application could remember what's "new" on any given feed across restarts; the unexpected quits are particularly frustrating when restarting brings one back to an "everything unread" state. RSS newsfeeds accessed via the menubar is a great idea, but this isn't stable enough yet. (Issues were verified on 2 separate systems running 10.3.5.)
