Why? It does not expire. It works with an unlimited number of files, shows Print Settings, Sort Order, Import-Export Order, Find Requests, Field and Formula definitions, content of Value Lists, Relationships, Fonts, how many times a file has not been closed properly, recovered, cloned, etc. -- if you need still more, you may buy a license.

No, it is NOT free! It is a PREVIEW (or, at the very least, a "Lite" version). The term "freeware" describes a fully functional application for you pay nothing, not now, not ever. An app which will run in a partially disabled mode (even without time limitation) until you pay for it is still SHAREWARE. Take an example from Qualcomm: The same install can be used in the feature-limited free mode, the unlimited sponsored mode, or in the unlimited paid mode, but they list it as what it is: shareware.Reply to This
