I've been very finicky and impartial about my browsers, and though there are some (beta!) shortcomings -- which shouldn't impact much the surf experience, Camino 0.8.1 is just a toe shy of making me totally retire iCab. I am a long devoted iCab user, but recent versions have lost the nimbleness and speed of former ones. An ideal Camino would possess all of iCab's features (but I wonder whether this bog down Camino as well.) Regardless, Camino's speed and page renderings are just superb. If Camino can improve on recontinuing uploads, open new page in background, and click-and-drag image/text to desktop them it has my vote and bucks. I salute these selfless developers allowing us to use their craft without a penny. Go try that at a store!

jimwg: Camino can open windows/tabs in the background (Check the preferences) and image/text drag and drop to the finder also works properly. Download resume would be a nice improvement to the download manager though :-)Reply to This
