If you go through the normal MS web-site page for their mice and go through the selection process there:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/Download.mspx
you'll see that this version IS NOT the version offered for some of the older mice like the Explorer mice for instance.
People should not download it directly but rather get the proper version for their mice from this page...

Tiger fix for IntelliMouse Explorere 3.0 - Pseudo K

Thank you for the URL. I had Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 and after the Tiger upgrade I was unable to get to the driver that worked. My install disc wanted OS 9! And clicking on VersionTracker's previous version pull-down lead me back to version 5.1 on the Microsoft site. This saved me a lot of headache.
BTW I just installed over version 5.1 and so far everything is fine. Couldn't find the mythical uninstaller (why isn't it in with the installer? even shareware writers do this)
