.......but i do agree withe the rest of you, this has not been what i expected.
On several occasions it is not detected by my computer.
I cannot use my Isight while the 410 is plugged in.
I cannot use my 410 while the Isight is plugged in.
i have been i contact with M-audio support, they have been helpfull and answered most of my questions, but it seems like they are accusing apple/OSX for causing the problem/s, instead of there own software/hardware.
And there have been no improment with the new drivers.
I hope we will be taken seriously very soon.
I do like the hardware, it looks pretty good on my desktop. (dooo)
I do like the two headphone outputs with seperat volume.
I do like the Audio interface and the simple gui.
I REALLY like it when it works 100%.

M-Audio is the problem here folks. They can't seem to write software drivers that work reliably 100% of the time. I have a FireWire410 and had a Transit USB... Had because I drove my car over the transit USB in frustration.I figured they wouldn't still be in business if they couldn't develop a decent product on either bus, I was wrong. They survive because people buy their products. Stop buying them and they will go away hopefully.
Their Products only work if they are the only device on the system. I mean the only device on your USB *and* FireWire Bus.
If you want to be annoyed to no end, then buy their products.
