Cannot install!

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

Never heard of this app before, but I have now & it looks great (here on these pages). Trouble is, running the installer lasts approx 0.25 secs before it instantly quits, ie it doesn't even *think* about wanting to install. Checked developer's site for help - none specific to this issue - but found there's an install-it-yourself version. Downloaded that, a folder full of files I've no clue what to do with :-( I'd really like to try this app - has anyone succesfully downloaded & installed v3.02?!

Cannot install! - frode_hegland_4

Hey, sorry you are having problems. The installer is a Java app, just like LiSA. If you are having problems with the installer chances are you'll have problems with LiSA. Please visit Apple for the latest version of Java at http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/javaupdate.html Email me at support@speakingassistant.com if you have any questions, glad to hear from you!

It really will not install. - nickanderson

Thanks for the support! But unfortunately my system is already fully updated to Apple's latest Java release (& all other system-related updates). Everything else is working as it should be... so unfortunately, if I cannot install this app, I cannot use it, can I? It was a nice thought, though.

You can also download the non-installer version, which you just decompress and drag into your applications folder and then manually drag into the Dock. It's at http://www.speakingassistant.com/downloads/LiSA_MacOSX-no_installer.zip if you want to give it a try.
