Safari is the bottleneck - APGiuliano

Safari, being a Cocoa based application is "forced" to use the Java 1.4.2 Opera and others (except for Shiira) are Carbon based and do not use Java 1.4.2, they fall back to 1.3.1 Shiira "fails" the bench test you post miserably as well, but other browsers from Mozilla to iCab perform well, simply because of the lower end Java
