seems to work fine, but there doesn't seem to be any warning of a restart being needed in Software Update anymore. Rather annoying since I'd just restarted yesterday.

I don't. I put my computer to sleep. I like instant on, which sleep instead of shutdown effectively gives you. There's little reason to shut down unless you aren't going to use the computer again for some time.Wednesday, August 11 2004 @ 09:29 AM PDT

I just updated this a.m. from Software Update and there was a small arrow in the update panel pointing to the app...and the legend says the arrow means "restart required."Reply to This
