Thank you for your comments Mikey, There are fundamental principles at issues here. If not in Law (see below) As I have said in my still unanswered e-mail to Riccardo "Thank you for your very generous offer for a third activation however I must regretfully decline - I would liked to have been informed of this softwares limitations before departing with the cash" - Unfortunately the nature of my work being a network administrator managing hundreds of computers I am constantly cloning and swapping out hardware and adding RAM and removing RAM. Despite repeated requests for information I have still not been informed as to what, why or how my actions "deactivate" the said software. I have had to remove this software and BAN it from my networks because to use it would cost hundreds of dollars reinstalling and hassling you for more 'activations' each time we did something to the computer - Honestly it just doesn't make any business sense to sell a product that causes so much hassle for your intended clients - I support 'shareware" I spend hundreds of US dollars a year on shareware and I actually like the product as it save me heaps of time paging through the hundreds of web pages I plow through each week. I use an online computer job tracking system and it makes switching pages very fast for me - I primarily use it for the forward/back contextual menu - I would pay upto US$30 (AU$50.00) for the product (without the limited activations) As it saves me that much time - I wouldn't be entirely happy about paying that much for one feature because Safari should have this basic facility built in - But my point is I should have been offered a "limited/Lite" version and an Unlimited version and I would have purchased the latter and been relatively happy and you would have been relatively richer - I would also suggest you seriously look in to your countries trade practice laws because if you were here in Australia I think you would find you would be in breach of our laws relating Transparency, license disclosure and limited warranty regulations that apply to all business transactions including the web. Perhaps you should 'bone up' on the law to avoid potential infractions with the regulators.

Thank you for your comments - I hope the reason he hasn't replied is because he is reading up on the Trade Practice Act! - I mean, really dose he want to sell this or not? - I have got the cash sitting here waiting for a non crippled version that I can actually use. As stated I will pay up to $55.00 Aust Dollars for the product. Its over a year later and still no answers to my requests and still no other product offering a simple forward/ back contextual menu... Its unreal... Oh well I guess Tiger is due this Friday... lets see if Safari has been brought into the 21 C... Come on Apple!Monday, March 28 2005 @ 09:12 PM PST

Eh, while I see your point, and sympathize a little, I still must say that you are whining a bit much. I've seen this issue with several other programs that were way more expensive than this; and while I only have my one Mac, and not a whole library-full or something, it IS only $10. If the programmer hasn't replied to you it's probably because you scared him with your "legal niceties".Reply to This
