Yeah, mine just stopped working today as well. Didn't know if it was just me or some other problem. Anyway, guess I'll go take another look at that other GMail application. A shame too since I preferred this one when last I tried them both.

I'm sorry to say that you'll have the same problem with GmailStatus as well (at least through version 0.7):

The email service has changed its ways and is no longer compatible with gCount v0.3.2. The service no longer authenticates in the same manner that it used to. I'm working on a fix, hopefully I'll be able to release a bug update soon.
