After installing the Aug 2004 update I now get the folllowing message when trying to scan a volume:

"SpeedScan Not Supported in this version of the engine. Please uncheck "Use Speedscan" in the preferences.

What gives with this? I didn't change anything, I just updated the definitions.

SpeedScan Not Supported ERROR - klc

I had the same problem. I tried replacing the Virex Preferences in the Virex Preference Folder, but was not successful. If anyone has a solution, please let us know.
