You may want to try Camino, one of those alternative Mac browsers. I think it's really, really good – very stable, fast, web-compliant to the utmost, elegant and easy to customise. It renders certain pages much better than Safari! I no longer have time to play with software, but this one was/is worth a try. And it is based on Mozilla's open code so it is not something that is going to disappear overnight. Anyone can use it easily - and like it, too.
