What's the point of this ongoing BETA, when the program refuses to launch because my "10 runs in 30 days has expired"? It wants me to pay to continue beta testing? This is stupid. Now how am I supposed to know if the things I want fixed have been corrected to my satisfaction?
10 launches?!?!?
Gimme-a-break.

no, seriously ...10 launches is NOT enough to really get the feel of an intricate and mulit-functional app like file buddy.I'm not complaining - just saying this for the developers benefit.

10 launches **might** be fine for a final version. But, for a beta running well over a month... uh-uh.

I think the developer should choose to limit the application based on date _OR_ # activations. Both together are to limiting. I personally don't see any value in V8.0 so I'll be sticking with the older version. It runs just fine. Nothing that's been added to V8.0 seems worth the money to upgrade at this point.Thursday, September 16 2004 @ 12:45 PM PDT

Ten launches is giving you a break. File Buddy goes above and beyond standard practice by giving you at least 10 launches. File Buddy's trial period is for the greater of 30 days or 10 launches, whichever gives you more opportunity to try it. Most timed trials only give you the 30 days, even if you only launched the program once in those 30 days.Reply to This
