I just saw this the other day, and had not known it was possible to use a unix box as an open source IP PBX, but it was very easy to setup and I was even able to setup a PBX on my laptop for a couple of SIP phones in the office. Very Cool.
I would really like to see the GUI configuration tools, and I'm seriously thinking about dedicating a G5 for a full time IP PBX.
Asterisk
PBX, VoIP, IVR & voice mail system

What a cool app - yaboot
With a dedicated G5 as an Asterisk server, you could provide telephone service to a small to medium sized town :-)For a home or office PBX, an old G3 will do just fine.
