This update killed my 30gb 3G iPod. It was working perfectly until I applied the update to it. First it started skipping songs, then it would stop playing songs in the middle and would become unresponsive requiring a reboot. Finally, it won't boot at all and gives me the Folder with an exclamation mark. Nothing works. Now I can't even turn it off, it alternates between the Apple logo and the folder/exclamation mark.

This iPod has worked perfectly well for the past year. Is this Apple's way to try to get me to buy a new iPod? This sucks
