There may be situations where this is the best solution, but considering the minimal speed gains over native Win 2000 Server, and that fact that I can buy an entire new Xserve G5 server with 600GB of storage for less than the cost of just ExtremeZ-IP software (the unlimited-client file and print server version of ExtremeZ-IP), not even including the Wintel server hardware or Win Server software, I think the business case for this product is looking less and less justifiable.

Double mirror, and yes, YMMV.How long have you been believing manufacturers claims on anything?
EZ-IP is a great product for those stuck in a Windoze world using Macs.

I wouldn't recommend this as a primary server solution either. Definitely buy an XServe.
However, in a shop where you may have no other choice but to run Win2k server for purely political reasons (not technical ones,) I can wholeheartedly say that this is a HUGELY better solution than Win2k's native services for Macintosh. Our shop went from having probably 8-10, 90-second network-wide client lockups per hour with MS FSM to having zero with EZIP. And apparently, we're not alone in this. If you are forced to use windoze to serve Macs, use this.
