Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

I agree that it is great; and I applaud Blizzard for their LONG support of their products, even for the Mac; however I find it amusing that we seem to all have forgotten that Starcraft was the (initial) worst Mac-software that Blizzard released. It was delayed over a YEAR (it was either 11 or 13 months) from the 'simultaneous release' of the PC version; who's expansion pack was released before the Mac version of the original!

It was never claimed that Starcraft would be simultaneous relase for mac.
It was just over a year after the PC release. (12-13 months sounds right)

At that time, Blizzard would finish the pc version, and would then hand the code over to the porting company. sometime after the starcraft release is when Blizzard aquired (or something like that) the porting company, so they could release simultaneous (or close to it) I believe Diablo II was the first test of this, and it wasn't quite at the same time (something like 3 months later), the Diablo II expansion pack was at the same time (all disks were hybrid)
