Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

At last there is a native OSX version of this old classic. And the program has now developed and get enriched so the possible variations are endless. (I have been using it since version 5, but not so much the last years since it only ran in Classic) Now however it runs perfectly in OSX and files can be saved both in the programs own format and as MIDI files.

The only thing I am missing is an easy way to change files with Garageband. Now the only solution I have found is to save the compleated song in MIDI format, then use Dent de Midi to transform it into tracks that can be imported into Garageband for further modification.

There are also a few small bugs in the list editing module I think (or I am doing something wrong) but otherwise it is a very stable program.

As far as importing .MID files into Garageband, that capability has been in since Garageband 2. The way you do it is drag and drop onto the area of the main window below where any tracks are.
