Every new window I create comes up with the mouse in horizontal scrolling mode. I hate this feature-- I had to enable clicking the scroll wheel to switch modes, just so I have scroll vertically. How can I disable horizontal scrolling?

Have you sent an email about this to the Kensington technical support email address? It's certainly not the expected behavior (and makes no sense -- does the menu bar status icon change when you open your new windows? What new windows are you referring to?), and I can't even begin to guess what's happening in your case without more information about your system and settings and what exactly you are doing.Disabling horizontal scrolling should simply be a matter of turning off the checkbox in the Scrolling tab, and reprogramming the wheel button to do something else. If you have settings defined for multiple applications, you may need to do this for each application you've defined. Make sure it's not scrolling horizontally when you do so, or you'll have to switch that off through our menu bar status icon.
