I had several problems with You Synchronize. First, I have my away hard disk divided into partitions. The drag and drop window did not work when I mounted these partitions at home. It turns out to be necessary to mount the root volume to get this to work. The support people didn't have a clue how to help me; I discovered it myself. Second, the sofware apparently synchronizes folder contents, rather than specific files. When you set up a folder, you have to exclude all the files in the folder (both away and home), leaving only the file you want synchronized unspecified. This is a problem with Eudora which can have hundreds of files and folders. Why cannot one specify only the file to be synchronized as seems reasonable? Third, using the program to synchronize Apple's Address Book eventually resulted in a massive loss of data. I have no idea what happened. It may be that Address book considers the data to be changed when you open the program.
Sadder, but wiser.
