Is it downloads? The ones in blue today have 6,800 and 505. Shouldn't X-Plane be in blue?

Totally Wrong, We do NOT seel the BLUE hi-lites. Those are editor's picks we feel are either important or popular. Always best to ask us if you have a question instead of guessing.

So VT Staff, why then isn't X-Plane in blue? It's clearly popular. It's the leading flight simulator on any platform. It's developed by a bunch of Mac guys who promote the fact that they choose macs over PCs and that this leads to their ability to produce a better product. They release their betas to the Mac community first almost always. The worst case scenario is that's mac users get updates at the same time as others but I can't remember a time when it hasn't been first.

Basically, given that X-Plane meets, and in fact exceeds by far, your stated criteria, many X-Plane fans (myself included) would like to know why the editors have decided not to highlight this product.

Maybe X-Plane is "clearly popular" only because you guys post a new version of X-Plane every 2-3 days with only minimal changes. Maybe you guys shouldn't try to use versiontracker as free advertisting so blatently and focus more on bigger releases that are tested/prepped before you release them.

We typically don't mark beta products in blue thus x-plane is not blue most of the time. When it goes final I'll mark it blue again but having to go back and forth all the time I admit sometimes I forget one way or the other.
