Existing users, 
What a dilemma I had in helping someone with 100's of contacts move to OS X! What was I to do? Well I checked the trusty VT, and lo and behold I found this useful, if complicated to use tool. I found this system rather difficult to use, but very well explained. I downloaded the free trial of FMaker, and ran it, and it worked perfectly.
