Product Platform: MacOS,MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

I'm using OS 10.3.3 and Safari. I downloaded the firmware file to my desktop. Make sure that it not decompressed, It's used just as it is.

I then clicked on the link http://192.168.1.1/Upgrade.htm located in the "Editor's notes". It puts the Linksys upgrade link into Safari.

I then clicked on the "choose file", and then clicked on the downloaded file (befsr-v146_code.bin).

I then clicked on the "upgrade" and crossed my fingers. Don't touch anything else and if everything works correctly, you'll get a "successful" message in about 20 seconds.

My router is working properly right now, but I'll give it a week before passing judgment.

Loaded fine and it's working ... right now!! Thanks Linksys for not giving up on us. - Tom Myers

It's now in the 5th day of use and I've had to reset it four times. That's a big improvement, but I wish I could go back to my old firmware. The problem is that I no longer have a copy of the old firmware and don't know which version that I had installed.

Can anyone tell me how to check the firmware version installed.
