Years ago there was a great organisation out of Canada called Toggle Booleans. Maybe you remember it. They had the most hilarious applications. They were submitted from all over the world.

Toggle Booleans had a mouse odometer. As I remember it, it could measure the distance your mouse traveled in light years!

They also had the invincible 'Elvis Detector' with full instructions how to detect Elvis Presley in your vicinity. Awesome stuff.

But it was all FREE.

Oh yeah...

I forgot to mention: one of the strictest qualifications for being accepted by Toggle Booleans was that your app had to be WELL ENGINEERED.

Come at them with a 1.1 MB monster to record mouse distances and they wouldn't even have wasted time laughing at you.
