Version 4.2.1 has worked great for me, except when I click on "About . . ." under the apple my machine freezes, and of course I can't get forcasts. (Beige G3 Tower @467mHz, 768mb RAM, OS 9.2.1 w/ 1.6 Carbon). Version 4.2.2 immediately quits with a Type 3 error. Version Tracker lists it under OSX, but the product information says it'll work with OS 8.6-9.2.2. The link to a version 7.6.1 is broken. Hey, I still like it.
I heartily recommend 4.2.1, even with it's limitations.
