I love the Gold Dust preset. There is one thing that's scary though: I'm afraid of going blind using the other presets. I can't help but stare into the light. Most of the modes have too much white. The Gold Dust preset is the best since I find it the most reactive and less blinding than all the other modes. Oh yeah, your Omniron's Glow seems to be set to zoom in too much. I have to zoom out or else it's just white light to me. I'm using a G4/400 with R8500, 10.3.4, 1024x768 15" LCD in case that helps.

You are right. Haha, I got this funny message, "GasLight : Pixel shaders not supported. Crappy blur effect will be used instead!"Sunday, June 27 2004 @ 04:22 PM PDT

Hmm. I'm sure that a R8500 should have pixel shader support. Could you do me a favor - check that's what you have, and let me know if you have any other pixel-shader related software you could test it on?Either way, thanks for the comments.

I am actually not sure which apps I have have pixel shading. Does Warcraft III have that? I don't remember noticing anything weird on that. You know what the problem may be? I have a flashed PC version of the Radeon 8500. Gold Dust looks fine, so I'll still keep this in my iTunes plugins folder.Wednesday, June 30 2004 @ 06:29 PM PDT

'Too much white' makes it sound like pixel shaders aren't working (which, incidentally, is a symptom that I've just fixed).Would you mind checking in Console to see what it says about pixel shaders when you start up the plugin?
Thanks,
Jon
