i agree with the folder scanning feature. i would then be able to use this app not only as a quick access viewer and organizer, but i could use it to help manage my final cut pro raw footage. from using the preview it seems like a great app, can anyone comment on how well it functions with larger video clips, or a large number of video clips? does it remain responsive?

folder scanning - Mike Waterfall SW

I don't know how much you want to trust the specs from the actual developer (haha), but I tested iVideo 2.0 with roughly 580 movies on my PowerBook G4 867 MHz. Using iVideo with that number of movies is as snappy as with 10 files, but it is slower when launching and quitting since it has to load and save the movies. Sorting 580 movies takes about two seconds.

As for the folder scanning idea, head on over to the forums to see if you like the "solution" I have to this. I don't think I will ever be adding folder scanning in its entirety, but I can do something similar.
