I ran this shell (Terminal) command as an admin user to add write permission to the conduit directory (in the admin group) and avoid the installation error:

sudo chmod g+w '/Library/Application Support/Palm HotSync/Conduits'

Ran that again after installation, with '+' (plus) changed to '-' (minus).

workaround for 4.0.5 installation error - madprof

that worked. but that's weird. how come other apps can install conduits and this one can't? is it supposed to be no write perms in the conduit folder for group admin?

workaround for 4.0.5 installation error - HankH

I ran the workaround but still get installation error. Any other ideas would be appreciated. The program seems to run but there is no help.
