I never thought I'd use an app slower than limewire, but xfactor 0.198 is limewire's match. First of all, take out the media player, buttons, web browser, and whatever else is bloating it. It takes 35 bounced to start on my dual 1.25ghz Powermac! It shouldn't be like this. I use safari anyway while i use a p2p, I don't need one in an app. Theater is also just trash, I am fine previewing my files in VLC when I want too. XFactor is becoming to complicated for my liking and I miss the old poisoned UI which was clean, and simple. Not cluttered at all. Xfactor gets lots of results no doubt, but I'd rather get less and be able to run more apps than just 1 huge bloated because of crap that xfactor 0.198 is. Also, where is this bittorrent that has been coming soon since version 1? If it isn't coming remove it and stop miss leading users. When I went to the support forums, I was nicely told if I didn't agree with what the developer put in it, then don't use it, so, I took them up on that offer, and it's back to Poisoned for me. In the business world, you need to at least try to apease users, no matter how hard it might be, but blowing them off? xfactor doesn't deserve a single user for that reason alone, reminds me of Dave of Acquisition, and this may even be worse...
Until Xfactor can get it's act together and stop adding crap that just bloats it up like Limewire, I give it a 1 star

Slower than limewire - zoidberg
launches in 2 1/2 bounces here on a G4 powerbook 1.33. i suspect there is something wrong with your setup ... comparing this to limewire seems pretty much ridiculous.Reply to This
