The Mac version of this game performs absolutely horrible. I have a dual 1.8 G5 and it creeps along at 20 fps in 1280x1024. My PC Athlon 800 with a Radeon 8500LE plays it great in 1600x1200. Bullsh*t.

I had problems with UT2003 and my Dual 2.0 G5. I was getting very crappy framerates at 640*480. The problem turned out to be an incompatibility with a USB device that was attached to my machine at the time. Try disconnecting any peripheral devices and running UT again. This may help solve your problem. It greatly fixed mine and UT2004 runs brilliantly on my 23" Cinema Display.
