0.9 is a step back. It feels more slugish then 0.8. On some sites that I visit on a regular basis, scrolling down becomes a bit annoying. The fluidity of Safari or Shiira really is missing in Firefox. And the startup time for Firefox 0.9 is something left to be desired. On a positive note there are some websites which Safari or Shiira don't render properly yet but where Firefox does a decent job. I've been using Firefox for some time now but the development seems to be going in the wrong direction. I mentioned this in an earlier post but I will post it again: Shiira is a new browser being developt which looks very promising indeed.
