No way to limit bandwidth?

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: matt.hocker Saturday, June 12 2004 @ 04:59 AM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

I looked at comments for a prior version (3.3a) and it appears that there is a way to limit upstream bandwidth. However, clicking the oval brings up a box for "Max UL KiB/s" which cannot be edited. How do I set this value?

No way to limit bandwidth? - BobHarris

Try CarraFix http://www.carrafix.com/

It will allow you to place an upload limit on any port. Just add ports 6881 through 6889 and specify the upload limit you wish and CarraFix will do the rest. I found this posting looking for exactly the same thing, but Google also showed me another web page that mentioned CarraFix, so I tried it. Seems to do the job OK.
