Using Safari and the built-in firmware updater (accessed via the "Help" tab and the "Update Firmware" link in the configuration pages), I was able to update to 1.45.11 with no issues.

I had to reset my password and DHCP settings, but -- as others have noted -- this took only a few seconds.

Browser Update Worked for Me - TheMouseman1212

Which router did you apply this to? With all of the problems people have been having with this firmware update, I want to research as much as possible before implementing and I'm finding very few Mac people on this thread. I'm on a BEFSR11.
