Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

On a Dual 1GB G5 this thing takes about 3 minutes to rename about 1000 files. I don't see why it should take anywhere near that long. I love the program but I'm still on the lookout for something faster, if that tells you anything.

Great interface, stable, but SLOOOOOOOOOOOW - Mike Dustan

The Finder window display seems to make a difference. Column display or list sorted by name seem to work fastest; sort by date modified is unbearably slow. I don't think it's ABFR's fault.

Great interface, stable, but SLOOOOOOOOOOOW - publicspace

Please contact me (the author at reiff@publicspace.net). If it takes a few minutes then there is something very wrong; ABFR normally renames thousands of files in a few seconds.
