I'm not quite sure how this application can honestly pass itself off as "shareware" when the trial version imposes a backup limitation of 40 files. My prinicipal purpose in evaluating the software would be to make bootable backups from one volume to another, either on the same disk or on a separate disk. With nearly 400,000 files on my principal boot volume, Folder Synchronizer's 40 file limitation is off by a factor of approximately 10,000 to 1. Amid all the gushing and drooling over this application in these reviews, no one seems to mind that it's impossible to perform a credible evaluation of a backup application that will only allow the copying of 40 files. When SoftoBe gets serious about a fully functional trial version, I'll give Folder Synchronizer as serious evaluation. Until then, it has no credibility as a "shareware" application.
