Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: NO

Due the problem with 2.02 of "Fixed volume confusion problem for multiple external drives" which is now supposedly fixed in 2.03, I am hesitant to use this application again. About one month ago, it seemed to have decided on its own to back up to another external drive instead of the targeted external drive, thereby erasing ALL the data I had on the other drive and replacing it with my cloned drive.

I tried using their demo version of Data Rescue to retreive the erased data, but the program was reporting that it would take a week to review all the data on a 60 gig drive. I asked their support if it actually takes this long or if I am missing something, but got no response back to this question.

I would have thought that they would have given me a free copy of Data Rescue or at least responded to my question about recovery to help me correct a significant problem their application created. But no luck.

I am using Carbon Copy for now.
