It's a nice idea to have software that manages key generation, maintaining a database of users and all that, however I can't evaluate this software as it is.
The most important part of evaluating a software license key generator is being able to see how to integrate license keys into an application. The difficult part is working out how to verify license keys. This must be done using an SDK that is not provided with the demo. It would have been nice to see this included.
The method by which these keys are generated (and verified) is also not immediately obvious, and this too is important. If the keys generated are not done in a secure fashion then they aren't really very useful.
This could be a really useful tool, and when I saw it I was hopeful since I am currently in need of exactly such a tool, but for now I think I'll do key generation myself.

Can't evaluate! - FOR neXtSoft
I wanted to expand on my previous response. The management system is only limited by the number of managable keys and it will not produce the encrypted files. The SDK, the part going into your app is a Cocoa SDK that is incorporated into your project like any other custom SDK. There are two methods you can call, each are provided to you in documentation since the header file will not contain their names for security reasons. The method names are also changed for each developer. In other words the methods I call have a different name than the ones you would call.Thursday, June 03 2004 @ 10:17 PM PDT

I understand your concern. However, in order to maintain a level of security with the application I must refrain from including the SDK. To allow any one to download it and create an encrypted database then spend time figuring out how to either bypass the security or decrypt the keys would pose a serious security risk. The actual application generates the codes and encrypts them. Since the exact way the keys are encrypted is altered for each developer, even without the security risks a meaningful demo with the features you are asking for could not be made. However to see a working demonstration of the sdk simply download any of my other shareware apps and run them. If you have and are registered with any of them, then you have expereinced this appliction. If you regged via paypal you even recieved your key via the built in email system.Reply to This
