I get a message pane from Software Update that says it can't be installed and to "Make sure you have permission to write to /tmp/501/TemporaryItems/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate, then try again." BUT THERE IS NO FILE BY THAT NAME AT THAT PATH. Trying the Combo Update now. Thank you for the link, pauldrummond.

System Info:10.3.3 PowerBook G4 Titanium.
