Logic dictates that if some people are not having problems with this sofware and some people are, then something is wrong with the software. Period. Count me in the first group--crashing applications that _never_ crash when this crap isn't running.

Um no, logic dictates that if some people have ZERO problems, and others "claim to have problems" that the software is NOT inherently bad.Get it?
Most of the fools who own computers should own a telephone (rotary) and a typewriter.

Having no issue at your side doesn't necessarily mean that an app is bug-free because you haven't used it with dozens of other applications that other people use daily but you don't even have it installed.Thursday, May 27 2004 @ 01:46 PM PDT

IF you took the time to learn how to use your software you would find a simple solution. Unsanity apps provide a way to EXCLUDE altering apps YOU specify... I have certainly found some apps that had to be added to the exclude list not many but a few rare items that it's not Unsanities fault but the horrible job the other developer did. IF an application follows OS X rules and guidelines it will work fine... if it's crap that has been ported or written poorly it may and will often have trouble because it's doing something unexpected and outside the scope of what is normal. I blame developers for using flaws as features and not following Apple standards.BUT if you do have one of these crapware apps that can't run due to a haxie JUST ADD IT TO THE EXCLUDE LIST YOU FOOL it will then run just fine! every time... if it still doesn't work after being excluded then IT IS NOT the haxies fault since it is NOT doing anything to that app! Look into other issues your system is having.

Well--I don't suffer fools well and the arguments that the respondents have put forth to prove that I am the fool can be easily picked part. You should pick your fights well. I have a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and have been writing software since 1973. The latest program which crashed with a log report pointing to the software in question was XCode.Tuesday, May 25 2004 @ 10:30 PM PDT

Lucky us - please tell us what you develop so we can stay away from your software.I know and have worked with so many PhD's that can't even tie their own shoes, that your cred's mean nothing here.
Move on. learn how to use your computer and have a nice day.
