Hi,
This is the second Beta I've tried and unlike the previous one, This one freezes after it has scanned and checked for updates and you highlight a particular application in the display. It responds eventually but when you highlight another application the same temporary freezing happens again. As I say this is a new bug tghat was not oresent Ver2.70.52. Apart from this annoying bug it seems to be good. The Database of supported applications seems to be getting better but far from complete and even some of the supported applications are not up to date Version wise.
But a great improvement.

Preview Pane Rendering - CNET TechTracker Staff
Thanks for your feedback and report, I'll try to respond to things individually below:1. Temporary freezing- In this latest version of the beta we introduced a new feature- enhanced preview pane with more product details (downloads, user rating etc.). The freezing sounds like it is due to the "pane" rendering. After you highlight a product, and go back to it again does it still freeze? The information should be cached...
We will look into this issue for the next beta release.
2. Database- thanks for all your help, as more people try out the beta the more in-depth the content will become. Some applications are easy fixes, but others due to the developer's versioning scheme make it harder / sometimes impossible to match or show the current version. We always contact the developer and try to special case a fix when possible.
We will continue to improve this process.
All beta testers- If an item doesnt match correctly in your Watch List, highlight it and select the "report button" in the toolbar.
Thanks...
