VLC 0.7.2 would not launch and block old versions

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Contributed by: jcchautard Sunday, May 23 2004 @ 04:52 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Since I installed VLC 0.7.2 (on OS X Panther) I cannot use any version of VLC anymore.

When I launch VLC 0.7.2 I got this message in the console:

VLC media player 0.7.2 Bond
[00000001] main vlc error: option rt-offset does not exist
[00000001] main vlc error: option rt-offset does not exist

When I launch VLC 0.5.3 (which used to work!) the app icon bounces for 10 secs in the dock and then stays frozen, not responding. I got no messages in the console.

Please help!
System Info:I\'m using OS X Panther 10.3.3 on a G4 Quicksilver 867MHz.
