Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

I think that having a flag being thrown into the trash that looks very similar to the US flag is kindof tacky. I personally am not offended, but other die hard American patriots might be especially with the current climent in Iraq with men/boys coming home in body bags. I haven't tried the software yet, and the icon as long as it doesn't affect how it (software) performs, there should be no problem. However, the developer shoud be aware of how it will appeal to potential computer users. It might give the impression of being anti-American. Do you really want to leave that impression with the American user every time they use this software?

Re: software Icon - antoniong

Don't you find it a bit ridiculous to rate software depending on some silly war the Americans are eager to fight? The world is really larger than the US!

Wake up! "men/boys" ? Those of us in uniform are referred to as soldiers, sailors, marines or airmen. Spare your sexist slant for some other forum and by the way...I don't need you to defend the flag for me.

-someone who has been there...have you?
