Totally freezes after a while. Must restart to get rid of the application since it does not appear on the Dock and cannot get force quit. Some major cities are not recognized, other cities are on the list but are without weather info data. Poor preferences. It is a nice idea (and free), but needs a total revision...

A better way of stopping the program would be to use the process viewer. ALL running programs show up there, regardless of whether they are in the dock or not. A quick command will quit anything you want (including the commands that run the OS).A great way to get quick access to the process veiwer is to download and install the system preference pane "Spy." It puts a little icon in your menu bar that shows your processor's activity, and if you click on it gives you speedy access to the process viewer.
